Hard ripened cheese – flakes

Dziugas is a hard Lithuanian ripened cheese with a unique flavor. It is made from only 4 basic ingredients: milk, salt, lactic acid bacteria cultures, coagulating enzyme. Dziugas long-ripened cheeses are lactose-free and perfectly suitable for vegetarians, as enzymes of non-animal origin are used in the production process. The cheese is rich in calcium, with 100 grams of Dziugas cheese containing the recommended daily dose of magnesium. It is also a source of protein and contains no additives or preservatives. The taste, color, smell and texture of the cheese evolve during the maturation process - the more mature the more crumbly.
